About me

Hi!

I’m Hannah, a wife and mother of two from Liverpool.

I’m also a Doctor with experience in Women’s health ranging from Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Forensic Medicine (sexual assault), Sexual Health and education.

I have a passion for helping women, men and healthcare professionals find relief from the overwhelming emotions of birth trauma and pregnancy loss.

My interest in this area began during my experience as an Obstetrics and Gynaecology Doctor providing care for pregnant women during early pregnancy, miscarriage, stillbirth and birth.

However this interest was fuelled through seeing friends sadly suffering from miscarriage, infertility and negative birth experiences. Once I had my two children I often spoke to other new mums and dads whom shared their difficult birth experiences and the negative impact this was having on them emotionally.

This spurred me on to train as a Birth Trauma Resolution practitioner; a therapy training programme with your needs specifically in mind. My training by Jenny Mullan is accredited by the Royal College of Midwives and fully insured. I have since launched ‘Renew’ through which I hope to help you find breakthrough from your trauma.

Also as a practitioner supporting people to evaluate and find ways of getting their emotional needs met, the need for supporting all people in this area, especially employees in high paced demanding jobs has become a high priority of mine. So using experience from my medical background and using techniques practiced in my therapy service I have developed packages for employers to support their employees mental wellbeing. Mindfulness, relaxation and the NHS 5 steps to mental wellbeing are integral to my practice. I’m passionate and excited about changing workplace culture!

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’re suffering from any of the issues discussed or want to find out about my services for your workplace,

Love and best wishes
